And that’s how it started…

On September 6, 2016 I received the message above from Franck Signorile. I think in some way I always knew this message would come but I was overjoyed it was finally happening. I would finally get some answers. I had pieced together my grandfather’s timeline through military records and letters he kept all these years, but there was always a big hole in the middle. What happened during his time in France? Due to the language barrier (I don’t speak French) the research was hard to do. And then Franck and Pascal came into my life…with so much more than answers.
